Enhanced Skin Rejuvination, The Treatment for Sun Damaged Skin and Wrinkles

We are pleased to offer Enhanced Skin Rejuvenation, a revolutionary skin treatment using multiple laser wavelengths to eliminate and reduce pigmentation, broken capillaries, wrinkles and improve facial facial toning. It is most often performed on the face and neck, but the chest, hands, arms and legs can be treated as well.

How does it work?

Laser light is absorbed by pigmented areas where it is converted to heat, causing a breakup in pigment. In broken capillaries and spider viens, the laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the blood and callapses the unwanted vein. For wrinkles and skin toning, the laser stimulates collagen growth. Dr Sedacca with analyze your skin condition and help you select the most effective treatment for you.

When will you see results?

Effects are cumulative. After the first treatment you will see improvements to broken capillaries, small facial veins and some pigmented areas within a few days. Other improvments such as wrinkle reduction and toning will be more subtle and may take one to three months. Friends may suggest that you loo more rested. With each subsequent treatment, subtle changes will accumulate until you have achieved the improvement that you desire.

How often can you have it done?

A series of three ti six treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart, is our standard recommendation. Occasionally, more treatments may be needed for certian individuals or conditions. Periodic accasional maintenance treatments may be prescribed for optimal results.

What can you expect immediately post-treatment?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness, swelling and/or a slight darkening of pigmented areas. The redness and swelling usually dissapates within one to three days however, darkened pigmentation my persist and peel lightly for up to one week. Makeup can be applied to the treated area immediately, if necessary. Additionally, hair growth my be impared in the treated area, although it is not the intended purpose of this particular treatment. It is extremely important to apply a moisturizer with SPF 30 sunblock and avoid sun exposure on a daily basis to prevent additional damage.

How long does it take?

Most treatments will take approximately 30-60 minutes. Prescribed topical anesthitics should be applied 30-90 minutes before the treatment time (this is greatly encourged to increase your comfort).
